Skuber Race Team delivers breakthrough performance at Sepang

Skuber Race Team and Singaporean driver Jonathan Xie have begun their 2026 campaign with an impressive showing at the Sepang International Circuit, competing in both the Malaysia Touring Car Championship (MTCC) Round 1 and the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Round 1.

Joining Xie were teammates Baron Sim, Quek Kian Wee, Ishayet Hossain, and Avik Anwar.

In the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Round 1, Xie - alongside teammates Sim - received first place for both races in the AM Class and came fourth overall, marking a strong debut.

In the MTCC Round 1, Xie fought back to secure a good overall finishing position - third in class (MT2G) in Race 1 and fifth in class (MT2G) in Race 2.

With this strong opening, Skuber Race Team will now shift its focus to upcoming rounds across Asia, with the aim of converting class wins into championship contention, improving qualifying performance and race execution, and strengthening its presence across both GT and touring platforms.
