Subaru announces limited edition WRX for Australian market

Now, it has provided a similar treatment for the WRX name plate down under.
They include the iconic combination of WR blue mica paint, gold-coloured 17-inch alloy wheels and a variety of Subaru Tecnica International (STI) components - from a front lip and rear spoiler, short shift gear assembly and flexible tower strut brace.
Also included in the package are RS40 decals, Recaro seats with blue coloured Alcantara inserts and a numbered RS40 internal badge that highlight the uniqueness of the 300-unit limited production car.
Subaru Managing Director, Nick Senior, said, "This feature-packed special edition makes a direct visual link to the original World Rally Blue WRXs that did so much to grow Subaru’s performance credentials globally. WRX has always been a winner for customers in the retained value stakes and the special editions in particular give it even more cache, so with only 300 of these available, we anticipate high demand."
The car is available for pre-order and will hit showrooms from the end of August.
