Motor Image Enterprises, the distributor of Subaru in Singapore, has unveiled three new models at Singapore Motor Show 2026.
The cars being showcased include the Solterra XT, Subaru's first ever EV to be introduced in Singapore, the upcoming e-Outback, and the Forester e-Boxer Hybrid Sport Edition.
Built upon the e-Subaru Global Platform, the Solterra XT is powered by a dual-motor drivetrain that puts out a total of 252kW (338bhp), and is capable of completing the century sprint in just 5.1 seconds. Like many prior Subarus that fans are familiar with, the Solterra XT is also equipped with the X-Mode feature that optimises power delivery for increased traction on off-road surfaces.
On the outside, the Solterra XT features a two-tone colourway, with black fenders accentuating its rugged off-road heritage. A best-in-class ground clearance of 211mm works with its versatile powertrain to help it handle rugged road conditions.
Inside, you'll find a unique oval steering wheel for better visibility of the 7.0-inch LCD driver's display. A large 14-inch central touchscreen display handles all navigation and entertainment needs, pumping out quality tunes through the 10-speaker Harmon/Kardon Premium audio system.
On top of its iconic Subaru driving dynamics, the Solterra XT is also equipped with a slew of driving assist systems as included with the Subaru Safety Sense system. Notable assist systems include the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and the Lane Tracing Assist and Lane Departure Alert. These will work together to allow the car to maintain a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead, while keeping it centred when driving on expressways. You can read more about the Solterra XT on our first drive review of the car.
The e-Outback is even more powerful than the Solterra XT - this one puts out 375bhp and smashes the century sprint in just 4.4 seconds
Meanwhile, the e-Outback - which is set to launch officially in Q2 2026 - was also previewed at Subaru's booth. Packing dual motors that put out a total of 280kW (375bhp), this is the most powerful production Subaru ever. With all that power, the e-Outback completes the century sprint in just 4.4 seconds.
Built upon the same platform as the Solterra XT, the e-Outback is the choice for those who want something larger and more powerful, but equally, if not even more capable than the Solterra XT.
Also introduced during the exciting launches by Subaru during this Motor Show, is the new Forester e-Boxer Hybrid Sport Edition. This new edition includes a slew of enhancements, including STI front and roof spoilers, restyled wheels and a signature 'Sport' emblem.
Thanks to a special tie-up between Subaru Singapore and local authorised dealer for Brompton bikes, Happy Owl Cycle, every Subaru vehicle booked at the Singapore Motor Show will entitle buyers to a $1,000 Brompton voucher and a chance to win a Brompton G-Line Bike worth $5,150. With the exception of the BRZ, all Subaru models are also available with 10 years of free servicing.
The new Subaru Solterra XT has been officially launched in Singapore, with prices starting from $228,800 (COE inclusive).
