The challenge is a joint initiative by Motor Image Enterprises and MediaCorp Pte Ltd where participants will have to place the palms of their right hands onto specific palm decals on their assigned Subaru cars and keep it there until one last contestant remains. The longest standing participant, out of a total of 400 contestants, will be walking away with a Subaru Impreza WRX 2.5MT Hatchback valued at S$92,800 (without COE).

Besides competing for the grand prize of a car, contestants will also contend for the title of ‘Country Winner’ with a cash prize of S$1,000, the ‘Asian Winner’ title with S$5,000 and the ‘Country Team Winner’ title with a cash prize of S$10,000.
All 400 participants will be pushing their endurance limits to the edge as they fight to outlast each other. Regardless of harsh weather conditions (especially in Singapore), sleep deprivation, hunger and thirst, contestants are to ensure that they keep their right palms firmly on the Subaru Impreza cars.
More importantly, qualified paramedic teams and ambulance will be on standby throughout the challenge to tend to any emergencies. Health checks will also be provided for contestants to ensure they are in shape to continue the competition.
Contestants will be given a five minute break once every six hours – at 1pm, 7pm, 1am and 7pm.
Held at Ngee Ann City’s Civic Plaza was the region’s most anticipated challenge that brought together a total of 10 countries to the competition, making it the largest regional challenge since its induction in 2002.
