Subaru recalls Legacy and Outback over airbag issues
19 Feb 2012|10,860 views

Subaru is recalling two of its models, namely the Legacy and Outback, due to a fault in airbag deployment. The affected vehicles are manufactured between December 1, 2011 and December 23, 2011.
The fault in question is the side curtain airbags present in both of these models, which may not deploy correctly in the event of a collision. It is believed that an ‘incorrect mixture of propellant gases” in the initiator component may be the root of the cause.
