Subaru unveils the Impreza WRX STI A-Line Type S

Having recently revealed the limited edition Impreza WRX STI R205, Subaru has now unveiled another version of their Impreza sports hatchback. The new model though, only features cosmetic enhancements instead of performance upgrades.

Based on the Impreza WRX STI A-Line, which was launched in 2009 and features a five-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifts mated to the WRX STI’s 300bhp 2.5-litre turbocharged Boxer engine, the new Impreza WRX STI A-Line Type S gets upgraded equipment such as Recaro seats treated in Alcantara and leather.

Other improvements on the Type S include contrasting red stitching on the seats, leather steering wheel and door panels, as well as new lightweight alloy wheels in a gunmetal gray finish and gold-coloured brake callipers.
