Suzuki introduces new Swift in the U.K.

Suzuki has unveiled the all-new Swift in the U.K.

The model continues to build upon its predecessors, continuing to offer both style and practicality in a fun-to-drive hatchback package.

The new Suzuki Swift gets new three-dimensional rear combination lamps as well as a wide bumper at the rear

Design wise, the new hatchback gets a piano-black front grille up front, alongside L-shaped lamps that flow into rounded shoulder lines which in turn are highlighted by flared fenders. Look from the side and you'll notice the car not only sports muscular contours, but also sports a floating roof design.

And at the rear, new three-dimensional rear combination lamps alongside a wide bumper add visual stability and playfulness to help the Swift stand out on the road.

Examples of the hatchback headed to the U.K. will come equipped with a 9.0-inch infotainment screen that is subtly angled toward the driver for greater ease of use

In the cabin, the car sports a wraparound dual-tone black and light grey dashboard, paired alongside satin plating and satin dark silver paint accents for a sporty look. This dashboard also houses a 9.0-inch capacitive infotainment touchscreen that supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as voice recognition and Bluetooth music playback.

The new Suzuki Swift will go on sale in the U.K. equipped with a three-cylinder 1.2-litre engine paired to a 12V mild hybrid system. This engine is reported to deliver a total of 82bhp alongside a peak torque of 112Nm. The hatchback will also be offered with Suzuki's AllGrip automatic four-wheel drive system.s

The new Suzuki Swift is scheduled to go on sale in the U.K. in early 2024. The car is said to have been sold in a total of 169 different countries and regions and has seen accumulated sales of over nine million units as of October 2023.
