Suzuki releases the Swift Sport "Rock am Ring" special edition

Suzuki is one of the major sponsors of the 2010 Rock am Ring, which will be held at the Nürburgring race track in early June, and the company has decided to come up with a special Swift Sport "Rock am Ring" special edition to celebrate the event.

The one-off edition of the Swift Sport gets special "Rock am Ring" branded logos on the inside and outside of the car, as well as a new navigations system that comprises of a Clarion navigation system with a 6.9-inch colour display, 30GB of storage for music, an iPod adapter and more powerful speakers.

The Swift Sport "Rock am Ring" will be offered with a choice of three exterior colours ,"White Pearl Metallic", "Cosmic Black Pearl Metallic" and "Supreme Red Pearl Metallic", and only 700 units will be produced. Performance has been left untouched though, and the Swift Sport retains its 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine that produces 125bhp, which is good for a 0-100km/h sprint of 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 200km/h.
