The 2027 Lexus TZ may soon come to a market near you

Lexus has unveiled the full specs of the 2027 TZ, its all-new three-row, six-seat SUV.

Shaped by Lexus' Aji-migaki development philosophy, the TZ is a BEV that delivers a more profound, composed driving character built on a refined core structure. Aerodynamic performance is rooted in its fundamentals, while "Rear Comfort" mode prioritises rear seat comfort by utilising a combination of hardware and software electrification tech.

The TZ will be offered in six exterior colours, which also has the all-new Shaded Ivy paintwork. Inside, interior palettes include Birch (light grey), Acorn (medium tone), and Black/Dapple Grey (monochromatic gradition).

As a model that embodies Lexus' "Discover Limitless" vision, the TZ is a new BEV three-row SUV designed around the concept of the Driving Lounge. With a wheelbase of 3,050mm, it sits on a newly developed TNGA platform and features a spacious interior, as well as a wide, slim, movable panoramic roof.

Lexus will also debut its latest gen Lexus Interface Multimedia system in the TZ. This sees crisp graphics, an intuitive user interface, enhanced computing power, and AT&T 5G connectivity. New features include customisable widgets on the home screen, an improved "Hey Lexus" Voice Assistant, full-screen navigation on the digital gauge cluster, EV Charge Management functions, and more.

In addition, "Forged Bamboo" - a decorative material made form Shikoku bamboo - adorns many of the interior's surfaces, supporting both sustainable craftsmanship and the preservation of traditional techniques.

The 2027 TZ comes in all-wheel drive and is equipped with two electric motors with a combined output of 300kW. It also comes with two battery sizes: 76.96kWh and 95.82kWh. The latter supports a maximum DC charging rate of 150kW, allowing it to go from 10-80% in 35 minutes. And with 20-inch tyres, the model is able to achieve 530km of WLTP range (according to European standards).

Lexus has stated that more information about its all-new TZ will be available later in 2026.
