The Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT make their way into Singapore

Emotive design, a powerful drive, dynamic handling, and a long range. All these and more are available with the new Audi e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT, the firm's flagship four-door coupes, now available in Singapore.

The e-tron GT measures 4,990mm long and 1,960mm wide, but is just 1,410mm high.

Singapore-bound e-tron GT will get LED Matrix head lights at the front, while the RS e-tron GT will get the Audi laser light as standard. And up top, a glass roof for both cars comes as standard, although customers will be able to opt for a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer one as an option.

In the cabin, customers are greeted with an interior that offers the ambiance of a classic gran turismo.

Separated by a wide center console, the driver and front passenger sit in a sporty and low position. Nonetheless, recesses in the high-voltage battery low in the car will allow passengers to place their feet in them, making it easy to find a comfortable seating position.

The interior is airy, and the instrument panel is based on Audi's 'monoposto' design and so faces toward the driver. Audi's 12.3-inch virtual cockpit plus instrument cluster and 10.1-inch MMI touch display infotainment system comes standard, alongside natural language control with online connection.

A floor carpet and floor mats made of recycled material, such as old fishing nets, comes as standard.

But there isn't anything old about the drivetrain in the Audi e-tron GT.

Two electric motors on the front and rear axles will offer up an output of 469bhp in the e-tron GT, with a short burst of 523bhp on overboost mode. This output will allow the car to sprint to 100km/h from a standstill in just 4.1 seconds.

The RS e-tron GT meanwhile, will net you 590bhp, and 637bhp on overboost as well. The century sprint in here will be completed in just 3.3 seconds. The total torque for both cars is 630Nm or 830Nm respectively.

And while you're gunning it in the e-tron GT, those that opt for the Audi e-tron Sport Sound (standard in the RS model) will also get to hear what Audi describes as a 'high-quality and progressive sound'.

The aural drama is delivered by two control units and amplifiers to generate a separate interior and exterior sound, which is then played by two loudspeakers each outside and inside the vehicle.

An 800W, 84kWh net capacity battery enables fast charging via direct current of either e-tron GT at a maximum speed of 270kW. Charging via alternating current meanwhile, is capped at 11kW as standard, although an option to raise this to 22kW will be available shortly.

The Audi e-tron GT will cover a distance of up to 488km on one fully charged battery according to the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure cycle.

All e-tron models from Premium Automobiles will come with a combination of charging options that can include either a free home charger installation, or charging credits of up to 18 months at all public charging points operated by the SP Group.
