The new Seat Arona sports a more rugged exterior

Seat has refreshed the Arona with a more rugged and robust aesthetic.

From the front, the Arona's distinct, three-dimensional look is enhanced by the new hot-stamped grille designs. The front bumper in Reflex Silver has also been redesigned, with repositioned foglamps to enhance the car's rugged character.

The crossover now comes with LED exterior lighting shifts as standard. Eco LEDs are standard on SE and SE Technology trims, upgradable to Full LEDs which are standard on FR models upwards. The new LEDs reinforce the front design cues while also offering better visibility with lower energy consumption.

Three new alloy wheel designs are also being offered to enhance the crossover's side profile.

At the rear, the introduction of a new spoiler and diffuser add further differentiation, while the model's name is embossed handwritten lettering on the rear, together with the new Seat logo in two-tone chrome finish.

The interior of the Seat Arona has also been redesigned to enhances its spaciousness while giving a heightened sense of quality throughout.

Improved ergonomics are offered thanks to a completely new soft dashboard, which features a larger, floating central infotainment system. The system is now displayed on a generous 8.25-inch screen as standard, or 9.2-inch one on SE Technology models upwards. The screen has also been moved upwards, into a position more comfortable for the driver.

The new infotainment screen combines with a clear 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit (FR Sport and Xperience Lux models only). A new ergonomic multifunction Nappa leather steering wheel also makes its appearance in the new Arona.

Newly-designed and Illuminated air vents, with different colours available depending on the trim, also feature in the new cabin. Rear seat passengers now benefit from roof-mounted interior lights.

The Seat Arona is fully connected with in-car and out-car connectivity, including wireless Full Link integration and Seat Connect.

Under the bonnet, the new Arona will offer four different petrol powertrains with outputs ranging from 94bhp to 148bhp, linked to either manual or DSG dual-clutch transmissions. All petrol engines are equipped with turbo, direct-injection technology, with three 1.0-litre EcoTSI options available and a larger 1.5-litre EcoTSI.

The 1.0-litre TSI 94bhp unit, linked to a five-speed manual transmission, provides 175Nm of torque. The final three-cylinder unit delivers 108bhp and 200Nm of torque. It is linked to either a six-speed manual or seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.

The largest option in the range is a four-cylinder 1.5-litre EcoTSI. With an output of 2148bhp and 250Nm of torque, it balances its strong performance with impressive efficiency.
