Motor Image has introduced the new, refreshed Subaru XV. The XV, updated for 2021, boasts several enhancements - both aesthetic and under the skin.
Revisions to the exterior of the XV include redesigned wheels and a new bumper and grille, resulting in a more aggressive and sporty look. The new XV is also more capable on the go than before, thanks to the addition of Subaru's dual function X-MODE and SI-DRIVE.
X-MODE allows the driver to select between two different settings tailored to specific driving conditions - snow/dirt and deep snow/mud. It complements Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system to allow drivers to take the road less travelled, get muddier and have more daring adventures.
SI-DRIVE is Subaru's powertrain performance management system that allows the driver to choose between the vehicle's 'Intelligent' and 'Sport' modes. Selecting 'Intelligent' mode helps smooth out accelerator inputs for fuel saving. 'Sport' mode tunes the throttle to emphasise performance, which means the car responds immediately and powerfully in a refined manner, thus allowing for speedy acceleration.
The XV's suspension has been retuned, featuring coils and dampers optimised for an even smoother ride. Combined, these improvements provide a more enjoyable driving experience all around for both driver and passengers.
The new Subaru XV is now available to order and will be showcased at the Subaru Leng Kee showroom from 13 January 2020.
