Chevrolet is promising to display its 'broadest-ever range of performance and personalisation choices' at the upcoming 2012 SEMA Show which will kick off on 30th October. In line with their statement above, Chevrolet is now a painting performance-oriented vision of the new 2013 Malibu Turbo with a new concept.

Complementing the turbocharged powertrain is a Chevrolet Performance concept HiPer Strut front suspension and rear springs, concept six-piston front brake calipers used with two-piece cross-drilled rotors and a concept cold-air intake system to help the force-inducted engine draw cooler, denser air, which helps it make more power, although how much more is not known.
The concept comes wrapped in a Berlin Blue Tricoat exterior paint and is given an aggressive edge through a ground effects package that includes a front splitter, rocker panels, rear diffuser and a boot-mounted wing. The aero package works together with new 20-inch alloys shod in Pirelli PZero 255/35ZR20 tyres, custom lower grille and fog lamp grilles with red surrounds, clear tail lamp lenses and turbo badges. Interior wise, the concept model is fitted with RECARO sport seats trimmed in Jet Black leather and Navy Blue suede with red accent stitching, with the same materials and colours also found on the flat-bottom steering wheel, door panels and instrument panel.
Besides the Malibu, Chevrolet added its SEMA lineup will also include a 2014 Impala Concept, several Corvettes and Camaro concepts among others. The carmaker is keeping all details under wraps until the show kicks off.

Dubbed the Malibu Turbo Performance Concept, this model is powered by a 2.0-litre force-fed four generating 259bhp, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 6.3 seconds with top speed in excess of 250km/h. This make it the fastest Malibu ever.
