The strong, light and efficient Mitsubishi G4 compact sedan

The sleek and aerodynamic Concept G4 is a new compact sedan which Mitsubishi plans to roll out globally. As mentioned before, the concept uses a high clarity brilliant-cut diamond motif for the design of the front grill while headlamps and rear combination lamps create a frontal visage with a commanding presence.

The Japanese manufacturer - famed for its Lancer Evo models - claims the tail end leaves a sharp impression as it drives off into the distance.

Underpinning the Concept G4 is a RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body which Mitsubishi believes is the lightest in its class due to the extensive use of high tensile steel.

Thanks to this, the Concept G4 achieves fuel efficiency that is among the best in its class too - partially also because it is powered by a lightweight and compact 1.2-litre MIVEC engine mated to a CVT.

It is believed the Concept G4 would deliver an agile and pleasing driving dynamics stemming from its lighter weight as well as its reassuring handling and comfortable ride. Passengers are treated to a higher hip point and larger door openings for easier entry and exit on top of generous rear seat leg space.
