The Volvo XC90 T8 is peerless when it comes to power and efficiency

The XC90 T8 Twin Engine has exceeded all expectations when it comes to the no compromise equation of power and low fuel consumption, coupled with world class low emissions. It produces 49g/km CO₂, combined with 407bhp and 640Nm of torque. 

The improvement over the earlier announced figures were achieved thanks to the continuous innovation cycle at the Swedish company. The result of further tuning is a drop of 10g/km from the initial prognosis, for up to 57.2km/L fuel economy, while also adding more horsepower.

This makes the XC90 T8 Twin Engine the clear leader in its segment, with an exceptional combination of low fuel consumption, emissions and pure power.

The car has five different driving modes; Hybrid, Pure electric, Power, AWD and Save, which deliver a range of performance and efficiency-enhancing characteristics. All can be activated using either a scroll wheel on the centre console or a touchscreen on the dashboard.
