Be prepared to see more Zeekr cars plying our roads.
Just days following its announcement that it was now offering its X crossover with a Cat A COE-friendly power output, the firm has also launched its new 7X, offering customers here the chance to get a new, all-electric vehicle in the popular premium SUV segment.
Design highlights of the Zeekr 7X include the use of a black bar at the front, a floating roof design up top, and a slim taillight arrangement at the rear
And there's every chance you'll get to see plenty examples of the 7X here on our island. Zeekr has already marked the sale of the 100th example of the 7X, which was handed over to its lucky owner at this special launch event.
At 4,787mm long and 1,930mm wide, this Zeekr 7X occupies a footprint that is just a touch larger than the popular Mercedes-Benz GLC.
But this Zeekr is far from some 201bhp commuter. Opt for your own example in the entry-point 'Standard RWD' variant and your car will still come with a healthy 310kW (416bhp) motor, itself powered by a 75kWh LFP battery that supports up to 450kW charging at an 800V direct current charger.
Pick the 'Long Range RWD' or 'Performance' variant of the Zeekr 7X and your car will come with ventilated and massaging seats
There's also the 'Long Range RWD' 7X to consider, which also offers a total output of 310kW, but backs this up with a larger 100kWh NMC battery that can be charged up at 420kW, allowing the car to post a WLTP range of 605km. Both this and the 'Standard RWD' variant of the 7X will complete the century sprint in 6.0 seconds.
And for those who really need to move quickly, there's also the 475kW (637bhp) 'Performance' variant of the 7X, which will complete the zero to 100km/h run in just 3.9 seconds. Also powered by a 100kWh NMC battery, this variant of the 7X posts a WLTP range of 540km. All variants of the Zeekr 7X are built atop of an 800V architecture that integrates high speed charging technology.
Those who frequently rely on home charging will also be pleased to know that all variants of the Zeekr 7X support up to 22kW charging via an alternating current charger.
The Zeekr 7X utilises an 800V electric platform, allowing owners to charge their car at a maximum power of up to 450kW
The Zeekr 7X also comes with a wide sweep of premium features sure to delight all seated within. These start from the 13.02-inch high-definition cockpit cluster paired with a 16-inch 3.5K mini-LED central screen (with support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto included).
The seats of the 7X also come upholstered in soft polyurethane, unless you opt for the 'Performance' variant that is, in which case those seats will come as Nappa full-grain top-layer leather items. Furthermore, the seats at the front will come with a ventilation and massage function if you opt for the 'Long Range RWD' and 'Performance' variants.
These two variants of the 7X also come with automatic doors and the Zeekr sound pro 21-speaker 7.1.4 audio system, while all variants of the car come with a dual 50W wireless smartphone charging tray up front, so you can easily top up your devices when on the move.
And let's not forget it's quite the looker from the outside as well. Highlights here include its clamshell hood, which starts from an eye-catching black band that houses the car’s front lighting elements.
Look from the flank and you'll note that the Zeekr 7X also features a floating roof design while deploying a set of frameless doors. And at the rear, there's a very much in-trend full-width taillight arrangement.
Want to get your own example of what could be the next popular premium brand here in Singapore? The Zeekr 7X is now available with prices starting from $239,999, COE included.
