There's a new augmented reality app for the Ford F-150 Lightning

Ford has launched a new augmented reality for the F-150 Lightning electric truck.

The app, titled 'F-150 Lightning: Strike Anywhere', will allow reservation holders, enthusiasts and vehicle shoppers to bring the F-150 Lightning truck to life anywhere, right from the palm of their hand. Developed in collaboration with Google, the app will allow all to easily learn and discover the benefits of the all-electric Built Ford Tough pickup.

13 interactive animations are on offer in the app, informing users about the features and functions of the F-150 Lightning, including the electric vehicle's mega power frunk, battery range, interior connectivity, smart bed and towing capabilities as well as its convenient charging solutions on the road and at home, and more.

Users of the app will also be able to see the truck in their favorite colour and trim package and place an augmented-reality truck anywhere in their own environment - from their driveway to their jobsite. The 'F-150 Lightning: Strike Anywhere' app is now available on Android and iOS mobile devices in the U.S.A.
