Toyota builds the Germans an iQ straight from the 1970's

Disco died off decades ago, because people got tired of it - just like the Macarena.

But apparently, the German's are still are still doing the Hustle. So, Toyota built them a special edition iQ.

Thankfully, it's a one-off show car. But that doesn't make it any less visually offensive.

It's covered in a Disco Ball-esque mirror finish. And we're told the car has a stunning effect in person. But since flashing lights are known to cause convulsions, we're going to have to pass.

The little iQ also has Lamborghini-style doors, special 18-inch wheels, and a full DJ booth - complete with 1,000 watts of power, and two Numark NDX turntables. Definitely handy if you want to remix 'Stayin' Alive'.

The iQ Disco will be shown off at a concert in Cologne. Then, it'll go on a tour of the Toyota dealerships in Germany.

So, if you're travelling to Germany any time soon. Avoid the local Toyota dealerships. Or, 'the beat's going to get you'.
