Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid gets new Nightshade Edition

Toyota has turned up the cool factor of its Corolla Cross Hybrid in the U.S.A with a new Nightshade Special Edition for 2024.

The special edition car comes with 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, blacked-out badging, as well as black door handles and mirrors on top of a black roof spoiler. Pairing these touches are black accented head and taillights.

The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid Nightshade Special Edition comes in a total of three exterior colours to match these black touches: Jet Black, Barcelona Red, or Celestite Grey, with the latter two coming with a Jet Black Roof. The car also comes with standard features including a roof rack for extra storage, wireless charging, and a frameless rear-view mirror. The car also gets black and red fabric-trimmed interior accented by red stitching.

The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid utilises the firm's fifth-generation hybrid system which comprises a 2.0-litre engine and produces a system total of 193bhp and a claimed fuel economy of 17.8km/L. The Corolla Cross Hybrid Nightshade Edition is expected to arrive at Toyota dealerships across the U.S.A in the last quarter of 2024.
