Toyota GR86 gets new Ridge Green Limited model

Toyota has upgraded the GR86.
The coupe now comes with retuned shock absorbers, alongside an improved electric power steering control system, to deliver more intuitive handling and responsiveness alongside an improved steering feel at the upper limits of performance.
Cars equipped with a manual gearbox have also get their engine torque control system modified for easier blipping, while the range of engines speed from which downshifts will be allowed has been expanded for those equipped with the automatic gearbox, to enable sporty driving supported by a wider torque band.
The model is also getting a Ridge Green Limited limited special-edition model that finishes the car’s exterior in a Ridge Green finish, and adds 18-inch aluminium wheels painted in Bronze to match. The Ridge Green Limited Toyota GR86 also comes with Brembo ventilated disc brakes and Sachs shock absorbers as standard, and gats black and tan seats, alongside special-edition exclusive embroidery on its door cards.
Orders are now being accepted by Toyota vehicle dealers across Japan for the updated GR8 , with sales set to launch come 1 August 2024. Sales for the 200 examples of the Ridge Green Limited Toyota GR86 will be done via a lottery that runs until 28 July 2024.
