Toyota GT86 gets Lexus V8 transplant, goes drifting

This is one of the moments in life when you make the exclaimation " Well. that was fast". True to this statement, the Toyota GT 86 having only been launched for a handful of weeks in Japan, is now being transplanted with a Lexus IS F V8 engine. This arrangement was apparently done for one of Manabu 'Max' Orido's D1 Grand Prix drift events.

Given the short time, this was a job well done refitting the car with the V8 engine. Hear the tires screech and the 5.0 litre V8 engine scream in the video above as the GT86 goes drifting with Max Orido.
