Toyota launches the Aygo Black

The Aygo Black is available for both the three and five-door models, and is based on the Aygo+ trim level. Among the upgrades on the Aygo Black include a new, metallic Tempest Black paint job, and a set of 14-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, the Aygo Black features a leather and Alcantara interior, and "sports styling features", such as a leather-trimmed sports steering wheel and leather gear shift knob for the manual models. Air-conditioning is an additional option for the three-door.

The Aygo Black is powered by a 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine that is mated to a standard five-speed manual transmission, while Toyota's Multimode automatic gearbox is available for the five-door as an option.
