Toyota has opened up sales of the C+pod to customers in Japan.
The compact two-seater electric vehicle was initially only available to lease via Toyota vehicle dealers and Toyota Rental and Lease Agencies throughout Japan, however, sales are now being expanded to corporate and municipal customers as well as the general public.
The Toyota C+pod was designed as a mobility option for a those who frequently travel short distances with few passengers.
