Toyota reveals the Aygo Platinum in the UK

The Platinum is based on the Aygo+ trim level, and adds 14-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, Crystal Silver metallic paint, six-speaker audio system, Alcantara and leather seats and gear knob trim to the compact city hatchback.

There is also an optional additional Xtra Protected Pack which further includes rear parking sensors and additional side and rear protection mouldings, while Toyota's Vehicle Stability Control can also be specified for additional cost.

The Aygo Platinum trim is available for both three and five door versions of the Aygo, and both are powered by Toyota's 1.0 litre VVT-i petrol engine with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or Toyota's Multimode automated manual transmission.
