Volkswagen SG raises funds for International Pet Day

To celebrate International Pet Day, Volkswagen Group Singapore (VGS) is holding a special fund-raising campaign, "Unleash the Zoomies", which runs from 1 to 11 April 2026.

During this campaign, VGS will donate $10 to SPCA for every test drive in a Volkswagen, Skoda, or Cupra vehicle. Speaking on this initiative, VGS has said that this honours the human-animal bond while also aiming to reduce the number of homeless animals, as well as encouraging pet owners to improve their furry companions' quality of life.

This initiative will culminate on 11 April 2026, which is International Pet Day, and see Volkswagen Centre Singapore transformed into a vibrant, pet-friendly destination from 10:00am to 06:00pm. Designed as a day out for both "pawrents" and their "fur kids" (with no registration required), the event will feature a curated lineup of engaging activities with the first 30 test drive participants entitled to exclusive goodie bags filled with treats.

Visitors can also explore a Pet Market showcasing selected vendors offering artisanal treats and thoughtfully designed accessories. These include a unique goat milk treat making workshop by Lunavae, pet supplies such as PDRN shampoo and mouth sprays from D-Station, and even pet tarot reading with Cosmic Harmony by Shena.

And for those keen to deepen their understanding of animal welfare, informative sessions by the SPCA and AIA will provide valuable insights into responsible pet ownership, care, and well-being.
