Volkswagen to electrify Siemens' fleet

Automation company Siemens AG, one of the largest and longest established industrial companies in Germany, is electrifying its fleet with the assistance of Volkswagen.

Siemens will lease a total of 1,000 examples of the Volkswagen ID.4 to supplement its current fleet. Siemens plans to make its entire fleet CO₂-neutral and fully electric by 2030.
