New Volkswagen interior to debut with the all-new ID. Polo

Volkswagen will be literally opening the doors to its all-new ID. Polo for the first time, offering a glimpse into the interior of its future models. The new holistic design approach, shaped especially by customer feedback, will define the cockpit of upcoming ID. models.

The brand's new "Pure Positive" design language can be seen all over the ID. Polo's cockpit, such as fabric-covered surfaces on the dashboard and door inserts. The pleasant feel of all surfaces, buttons, controls, and handles creates an inviting and friendly atmosphere.

And in the central area of the dashboard, two large displays define the new cockpit architecture. These include the 10.25-inch digital display behind the steering wheel and the almost 13-inch infotainment touchscreen. Separate buttons for climate functions and the hazard warning lights are also integrated into a strip below the latter. The multi-function steering wheel is also completely new, featuring clearly structured button fields.

In addition, from the ID. Polo onwards, Volkswagen's next software gen promises to deliver an uptick in comfort and functions. This includes, for example, the third gen of Travel Assist, which will soon recognise red traffic lights and stop signs, as well as comfortable one-pedal-driving.
