Volkswagen's Golf GTI just got better
16 Oct 2008|9,543 views
Volkswagen Group Singapore is offering a lot more than what we normally get. The goodies are obvious already from the outside. The GTI no longer sits on the stock 17-inch rims - it now rolls around on the 18-inch "Detroit" wheels, which usually retails for S$3097.
The Vortex body kit with a standard colour will also be fitted, so for those who never fancied the black bumpers, this is for you.
Inside, you get the RCD 500 infotainment system that can provide high-resolution maps for navigation, and also play your favourite MP3s.
You can also plug in your iPod to heat things up in the hot hatch. But that's only if you get sick of hearing the GTI's marvellous rumbles and exhaust farts. Bluetooth capabilities (supports v1.0 and v2.0) are also available now, so users no longer need to worry about risking a hefty fine and their mobile phones being confiscated.
Volkswagen has a limited number of units and the last one will be sold by the 16th November 2008.
Oh, and here's the best part. All those goodies (worth about a good S$10,000) won't be on a separate bill - they'll come as part of your GTI.
