Woodlands Checkpoint will cease use of water barricades

In a statement released by the Traffic Police on Monday, the authority has announced that it will cease use of water barricades along Woodlands Checkpoint from 1st February.
Traffic arrangements along the road, however, will remain unchanged, and the Woodlands Checkpoint viaduct will remain opened for motorcycles only during evening peak hours between 4:30pm to 9:30pm. All other vehicles will use Exit 10B of Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE) to access the Woodlands Checkpoint during this period.
Motorists are advised to adhere to traffic rules and refer to overhead signages for instructions.
