LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE
The new Evoque sports a stylish exterior, wearing the boxy design language of its rugged-looking brothers, while softening it up with rounded edges and simple surfaces. The cabin is steeped in equipment, with a dual-screen Touch Pro Duo system, 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display, as well as a head-up display.

On the road, the Evoque rides softly and comfortably, with the 2.0-litre engine producing 245bhp and 365Nm of torque. There's no doubt that the Evoque is an altogether effective alternative to its rivals.

The Range Rover Evoque may look similar to its predecessor, but is actually all new. Not that looking like the car that preceded it is a bad thing either, given that the Evoque still looks mighty handsome. With its boxy design softened up with rounded edges and simple surfaces, the car easily evokes the silhouette of the brand's larger brothers.

The new car is now built atop the Premium Transverse Architecture platform, and is 13% stiffer than the previous car, delivering a tighter body and improved on-road refinement. Body roll and flex in corners are also notably reduced.

With a ride that is soft and comfortable, the Evoque delivers large on comfort. And its engine likewise reflects this philosophy. Tuned to deliver a healthy 365Nm of torque, the 2.0-litre engine in this First Edition variant also produces 245bhp, enough to deliver the car at pace through the urban jungle. Land Rover's Terrain Response 2 system is also fitted in the Evoque, allowing you to take the occasional stint through the less-beaten path should you feel like it.

The car's cabin is steeped in equipment, with a dual-screen Touch Pro Duo system, a 12.3-inch Interactive Driver Display, as well as a head-up display. The Evoque also features the ClearSight rear view mirror, which uses a camera located in the roof antenna pod to display a video feed showing what's behind the car, delivering you a clear image in your rear-view mirror, that is unobstructed by your rear passengers' heads and the aperture of the rear windscreen.

With a well-appointed interior and stylish exterior, the Evoque beats the rest of the segment by offering those looking for a well-equipped and comfortable premium SUV something different from the typical German rivals.
