Test drove this car after visiting the Volt showroom. It's super sexy looking and i was excited. I tested both the Cat A and Cat B version, and honestly it was a big let down. The version sold in Singapore doesn't have the very sexy electric spoiler that is available in China and the UAE. There's no app. NO APP!! It's 2026 soon, and this brand still does not have an app??? Feels like although they are supposed to be one of the large state owned brands, they are still start-ups in the EV car segment, so I think it's a massive risk to buy one of these cars now. Volt, the distributor is also a new start-up. The showroom is bare bones and does not inspire trust that they will take care of you in case something happens, and the risk of something happening with Chinese EVs is really high, so not sure if it's worth the risk. The Cat A version is cheap, but it's only 58KWh, which is ridiculously low, good for only around 300+km range on a full charge. The sales guy claims it's 500+ km, but their own written specs declare the range as 6km/KWh so you just do the math yourself. It's pathetic. If you own this, be prepared to be charging your car every 4-5 days.

All I can say is i am very satisfied, go drive one to know and feel one. The design of the car is sleek and smooth and you can play with the lights while stationery or moving slowly, for a Cat A car for this, you still have the luxury to feel the power and push you need when moving off and pick up speed. I'm glad to have found this car.

Your experience with the 007 starts with its mesmerising front-end, featuring a pair of split head lights with slim daytime-running lights taking the stage. Your eyes continue to trace the svelte body, leading through its tapering roofline that culminates in a tidy rear-end with a simple yet charming light bar.

Hop on in and you'll be greeted by a high level of equipment and countless features - the 007's cabin is a truly pampering space. With its decidedly long wheelbase, passengers get to enjoy plenty of legroom for a comfortable ride, and the front-row occupants also get ventilated seats. The well-built interior is lined extensively with plush vegan leather that is smooth to the touch.
