Had quite a bit of time with the 007 and I think the thing that surprised me most is that it doesn't drive the way it looks (especially the Performance version)On paper, 400kW, AWD and 0�100km/h in 3.9 seconds sounds quite mad. And yes, put your foot down and it is properly fast. But the suspension is actually quite soft, so the car feels more like a comfortable fast cruiser than something you would want to throw into every corner.I actually have mixed feelings about that. For everyday Singapore driving, I like it. It's comfortable, quiet and very easy to drive considering this is quite a big car. But if I'm buying the Performance specifically for the 400kW and 3.9s timing, I think I would have liked the suspension to be a bit firmer to match the power. You don't get as much road feedback as the performance figures might make you expect.The size also takes some getting used to. It's almost 4.9m long with a 2,915mm wheelbase. Great when you see how much rear legroom you get, not so great when you meet one of those old MSCP ramps ? The cameras definitely help.I really like the liftback though. You get 452L of boot space and with the rear seats down it goes beyond 1,000L. From the outside I always thought of the 007 as a sedan, so I didn't expect the boot opening to be that huge. You can actually fit some pretty awkward items inside.Overall though, I think the 007 makes more sense when you stop looking at it purely as a performance car. It's a big, comfortable liftback that happens to be very fast.

The Dongfeng 007 looks great and is comfortable to drive. I like the modern exterior design, spacious interior and smooth performance. It also offers plenty of features for the price. Overall, I think it is good value for money and a good choice for daily driving.

Despite the performance, it is still easy to drive normally in everyday traffic. The interior has a clean, modern look and there is a good amount of space, particularly for passengers.I also like that the 007 manages to balance performance, comfort and technology without feeling overly complicated. It works well both as an everyday car and as something a little more enjoyable to drive when you want it.Overall, it is a surprisingly complete electric sedan and one that is worth experiencing in person.

Hop on in and you'll be greeted by a high level of equipment and countless features - the 007's cabin is a truly pampering space.
