Judging Panel
The Judging Panel consists of seasoned automotive journalists from the Editorial Team, who collectively have reviewed over 120 vehicles just this year. Yes, many have been all electric, many have been SUVs as well, but we've also had fire-breathing hatchbacks, people-moving MPVs and even the odd convertible too! Divided perhaps in personal tastes and preferences, but the Judging Panel is united in our goal to be consumer-focused with regards to our evaluation for this year's Car of the Year Awards.

About Car Of The Year 2025
2025 might just be remembered as the year of growth - a growing number of brands in the market, a growing selection of models for customers to choose from, and, perhaps most noticeably, the ever-growing price of COEs.

But even in this challenging landscape, there's still plenty to get excited about. The wave of new brands and models from Chinese carmakers shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to push the limits of what buyers can expect from their next ride. And with technology improving faster than ever, it's clear that customers are the real winners here.

As always, it's our job at the Sgcarmart Media Team to stay ahead of these changes - keeping you, our readers, updated on everything happening in Singapore's vibrant automotive scene.

We've made sure to put every four-wheeler (and occasionally a two-wheeler too!) through its paces so that you have all the information you need before starting your car-buying journey.

Of course, that journey goes far beyond just time behind the wheel. From uncovering hidden corners of Singapore to tackling a drive up to Hat Yai on a single tank of petrol, we're here to share the most exciting, involving, and downright fun automotive experiences.
For this 16th edition of the Car of the Year Awards, the same rules apply - only cars launched and tested before October 2025 will qualify for the Sgcarmart Car of the Year Awards.

And once again, we're inviting you, our readers and viewers, to help decide which cars deserve to be crowned kings of their segments. After all, cars are just metal and rubber without drivers to bring them to life - it's in the driving that their true character shines through.

So, don't forget to cast your vote for the cars that stood out to you in 2025! There are even prizes up for grabs for some lucky voters, so take a good look at this year's nominees and tell us which ones are your favourites.

Throughout it all, our Media Team will be hard at work making sure the results reflect not just our opinions, but the voice of car buyers like you. After all, we're Sgcarmart - Singapore's number one automotive portal - and we'll keep bringing you car reviews and content just the way you like them.

Let the voting begin!
