In an ever-changing automotive world, with electric vehicles gaining momentum and SUVs increasing in popularity, the BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe still manages to stand its ground and make a pretty good name for itself.
A sleek exterior and upgraded power make it a great option for those seeking style and sporty flair. Granted, it sports the same UKL2 platform as its predecessor, but changes to its steering and suspension, as well as an increase to the rigidness of its body structure, means this iteration has a lot more to offer than before.
And while it retains its 1.5-litre, three-cylinder engine, this 2 Series Gran Coupe now puts out a total of 121bhp, as compared to its predecessor's 107bhp, ensuring it doesn't feel strained when keeping up with traffic.
Inside, its 10.25-inch Digital Instrument Custer and 10.7-inch Information Display is powered by BMW's Operating System 9, which scores pretty high when it comes to ease of use, although it does take a bit of familiarisation.
Comfort is also ensured, with the sport seats upholstered in Veganza leather allowing users to sit comfortably low and offering plenty of support for their sides.
With all these upgrades, this four-door coupe stands as an appealing option for those seeking a compact ride with premium branding and a dash of sportiness.
