One Sunday afternoon, I was driving around the Jurong/Toh Guan area looking for a reliable installer to fit an Apple Car Play headset onto my MPV. Most audio shops were shut except U Audio (located along the sleepy back lanes of TradeHub 21). The helpful owner, Mr Lim, suggested I speak to his son to see how we could get iPhone mirroring happening on my rear monitors. Javier Whatsapp-ed me early the next week and answered all my questions. He recommended a Pioneer player and even offered an irresistible trade-in deal for my old set. Workmanship was top notch and Javier took time to explain all the nitty-gritty functions of the new set. Whilst most accessory shops are curt and businesslike, this place is family-run and friendly. Customers seem to drop by and linger around, chatting with the owners and the in-house parrot (yes, a bright greenish-yellow feathered friend). Over the years, I've visited them to add on front/rear car cams, backup monitors and other accessories. The place has been busy on each visit, with a wide variety of cars being attended to; From luxury continental makes to trusty Japanese runabouts, even passenger vans. These guys certainly know what they are doing. And best of all, they are here for the long haul.

Patience and knowledgeable. Good workmanship. Reasonable pricing with advice. Patch up my messing wiring and get everything in order. You wont go wrong for going to them.

U Audio deserve such excellent review, as their quality work and commitment did not change from the last time I visited them which was 4 years ago.
For this visit, I needed a head-unit as my OEM multi-disc player stop working. I wasn't going to spend a lot as I only have 2.5yrs left on my car COE, but the recommendation that came from Xavier make sense. Get a reasonably priced 2-din display head-unit that will look much better then to settle with a 1-din CD player.
His recommendation was sound, and the wiring work was professional. Ah Send (the boss) also took time to explain the functions on the head-unit.
I am certain to return for upgrade if I should decide to extend my COE.
