Engine decide to break down during CNY 4th day. Went to another pro-volvo workshop. After 3 days of waiting. Told me they still have not check with all sorts of excuses. Angrily, Towed the car to Gary's on the 4th day, after recommended from a friend. Within 30 mins valve cover and everything out to diagnose. Found out that engine is in a terrible state now and recommended to overhaul it. Gary is a man with little words and having seen my sad and disappointment face (with the car) Gary promised to restore my confidence and unlock the hidden power in the car. (Mind you! He is really technical) After getting the car back. My car idle lower, So much smoother and reunited with the long lost power (maybe this is a understatement). This is the first time i have visited Gary Engineering, and to be honest the whole experience was good.

I did a major servicing for my coy's van and Boss Gary walk thorough with me what are the stuff that need to be change and what are the problem that the car have given me. My piston ring is worn off and there is slippage of engine oil into the air filter. Boss Gary actually suggested me to install an oil catch tank rather than doing a overhaul as the car is gonna scrap in like 19 months time.

And he also recommended me to use the engine oil flush machine. This is to remove sludge inside the engine and flush it out. It helps my car to run better and not only that, i see some improvement in my FC.

My S60 had some problems that could not be solved by my regular workshop. After 4 visits and spending quite abit of $$, I decided to ask around for recommendations, and many recommended Gary to me. Thus, I made a visit. My problem wasn't solved in 1 day, but 4 days in Gary's. However, I like that he communicated with me each time to tell me what he has narrowed down to, and finally helping me solve my issues. He tested with parts, and only charged me for those that were faulty and replaced. He said he has never encountered cars with my issues, although he had solved many with almost similar symptons, and he actually felt paiseh about seeing me there 4 days in a row. Now my car is running well and healthy again, and I am gonna make Gary's Engineering my regular workshop from now!

Gary has great experience and knowledge on cars - Japanese or European made. Provide very truthful info to customer on troubleshooting and details of issue encountered.
If possible, try to make an appointment before going there.

Was introduced by fellow forum mate to check out this workshop. Due to work commitment and location, I only able to make a trip over months later. Still remember when I reached there, the staff introduce me the servicing packages. Have also inform them about some of the minor problems that I face for my ride. Explain to me careful and patiently on the technical parts... And importantly, they managed to resolve the minor problems. Thanks!

Went to Gary at dealer recommendation to fix my Passat after bad (incompetent) experience at so called conti specialist at Jln Peminpin.

Gary took a care look of my problem (high pitch noise from one of the belts), thought over it, walked a few rounds, ran ecu diagnotic and started to spray detergent/water on the belts. I was puzzled! He explained that the prev mechanic had tried to lubricate the belt with grease. A no no in car mechanic speak.

Looks like the Honda master mech is equally conversant with VW. Two thumbs up!

Have been with Gary Engineering for more than 10 years already for any car mod, struts, tie bars, throttle body and even de-mod and now an ardent fan of FK/Massimo oil. Just used it to once to be convinced. Just a few days ago I got my auto tranny replaced by Gary, the one and only one workshop who is sincere, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate with cars and get things working right. For all my past 3 Honda Civics, I have no regrets being with Gary Engineering.

Try them out, GOOD oil, no sluggish feeling till next oil change. GOOD tuner too.

Gary is famous in the Honda circles. His built engines often out perform other builders. His quality of work is above average and his mechanics are experienced. He does road decent tuning on piggybacks and stocks many carbon fibre stuff mostly for Japanese models. I have no complains and would gladly recommend his shop for those go faster guys :)

I think their exhaust systems are gd too. Did my remus exhaust here, sound SOILD
