This is one of the tyre shop whom went to the extra mile for their customers. Noticed a nail pierced on the my rear passenger tyre at 7.45pm last Sat after I parked my car. Worried that the tyre might leak air over the night so started to call tyre shops around the west area. Most are closed at this hour but Mr.Seah, his wife & His assistant are willing to wait for me to drive over despite the minimum wait of at least 15-20 mins drive from my place to their new area at Mandai Estate. They are so patient and was not rushing in their job to check my tyres even though it was pass their closing hours. I have never met such customer oriented services from any of the tyres shops I have patronised over my 20 years of driving. They truly need a pat on their back for such wonderful service. Their new address is now at 11 Mandai Estate, #01-10 EK|LDIX, Singapore 729908. Tel: 67643708/97383019.

Outlet at No. 11 Mandai Estate #01-10, ELDIX Building s(729908) is Now opened too.
Travelling From Bukit Panjang estate to Mandai Estate takes less than ten minutes.
Travelling From Choa Chu Kang to Mandai Estate takes less than fifteen minutes.

At the intersection of woodlands road and mandai road traffic light(shell petrol kiosk station), drive pass sheng siong (that is, travelling Towards ten-mile junction direction). At the first traffic light (see big crab signage, cafe566);
Turn left and drive straight upwards all the way to the end and you will see the ELDIX BUILDING security guard house. Proceed in and within 3 car lengths, you will reached New Southern Tyre & Battery. The environment here is pretty refreshing as it is located on high ground,
with sounds of bird chirping and the trees swaying. Do pay a visit.

Ah Lum is very helpful in providing options for my tyre problem and he is patience to help me with smiles. Though I stay on the east of singapore, I will definitely be back for my car tyres needs. I will strongly recommend everyone to come for any tyre problems.

Professional Workmanship, Reasonable Price [Michelin]  Posted on 27-Oct-2012

This shop insists on using hand tools and torque wrench for installation of tyres for a good reason - to protect and preserve the service life of the parts. For my Isuzu pick up, the boss recommends Michelin tyres [made in Thailand], which he uses on his Nissan pick up as well. Because of his order quantity, he enjoys better pricing, which he might have passed on to me.

Pro:
- a sincere effort to do a good job.
- use of proper hand tools for the right reasons.
- Reasonable price ($128 per Michelin 185R14C, Installation and wheel balancing included)
- Opens everyday.
- Knowledgeable boss and technician.
- Nets/ Cash accepted.

Cons:
- No alignment service, blamed on the lack of space.

Bottom line:
Will return and recommend.

I think pricing is a bit on the higher side. For instance, patching a puncture tyre costs $15 which is about 3x the normal price. However, they are pretty professional.
