I recently had a highly disappointing experience with Ong Hock Chye Trading while attempting to get a front and rear in-car camera fixed. Initially, I was quoted SGD $50 two days prior. However, upon bringing in my vehicle, the lady boss claimed there was a miscommunication and insisted the charges should be $50 to remove the old camera and $70 to install the new one.

Thinking $70 to fit a new camera was still reasonable, I agreed to proceed. To my shock, upon job completion, the lady boss demanded $120 instead. She claimed that this was the standard price everywhere and insisted she wasn't overcharging for what was essentially a simple 15-minute job.

I informed her that the old man had confirmed the $50 quote, which is why I brought my car in the first place. The lady boss, however, was both arrogant and rude, insisting she had made the price clear beforehand and that it was the best possible price. Feeling frustrated and cornered, I paid the $120 and left.

To confirm my suspicions, I called a random audio shop in the Ubi area and received a quote of $50 to install the camera with no charge for removing the existing one. Clearly, Ong Hock Chye Trading provides misleading information to lure customers in, only to charge an exorbitant price at the end.

Overall, the service was terrible, and the business practices were deceitful. I would not recommend Ong Hock Chye Trading to anyone. Bad service, dishonest pricing, and unprofessional conduct. Avoid at all costs.

To change my back speakers and do the rewirings for HU, the "Head hand - Ah Teck" Is approachable and quote with reasonable price! Skillfull and professional work, able to advice and share his knownledge! Excellent, will visit again if I need to!

Went this morning to change my car alarm. Got it done within 1 hour. Not sure if $170 is reasonable but friendly service makes my trip there worthwhile.
