01 Aug 2014|4,289 views
Malaysian bus drivers ferrying factory workers and students were refusing to enter Singapore at the Malaysian Checkpoint after the new toll charges, which have increased by more than 500 percent, came into effect on 1st August.
Channel News Asia reported that it received calls regarding the incident in the early hours of Friday morning.
In what appears to be a 'strike', many Malaysian-registered buses stopped short of entering Singapore at Woodlands, causing a huge traffic pile up at the checkpoint.
