YHI Corporation introduces the high-performance Yokohama Advan Sport V107 and Advan Neova AD09, along with the MPV-specific BluEarth-RV RV03 in Singapore.

YHI Corporation has introduced three new Yokohama tyres in Singapore.

They are the high-performance Yokohama Advan Sport V107 and Advan Neova AD09, and the BluEarth-RV RV03, which is specifically made for MPVs or multi-purpose vehicles.

    Advan Sport V107

The Advan Sport V107 is also designed for SUVs such as the Porsche Cayenne, and EVs such as the Mercedes-EQ EQS
Yokohama claims that the Advan Sport V107, which succeeds the Advan Sport V105, offers stronger and more stable grip, alongside quieter performance.

A new compound, which was developed with a European carmaker, helps improve traction. Meanwhile, the square contact patch is claimed to minimise the variation of grip levels even under changing loads.

The Advan Sport V107 also features newly designed Silent Sipes, which help reduce road noise.

The tyre is OE (original equipment) on models such as the BMW M3 and M4 and Mercedes-AMG GLA and GLB. It is available in sizes from 18 inches to 23 inches.

    Advan Neova AD09

Yokohama says the AD09 offers more control and grip than the AD08R during cornering
Aimed at drivers who want even greater performance is the track-focussed AD09, which succeeds the well-known AD08R.

Yokohama has increased the AD09's casing rigidity by increasing the number of cords by 8%, and the carcass thickness by 9% over the AD08R.

Dry grip and wear resistance is supposedly enhanced as well, with a new tread pattern design featuring narrow circumferential grooves that are placed closer to the centre, while wide grooves on the inner side aid in water dispersion.

The Japanese tyre maker also says the AD09 better suppresses rib angle wear, which supposedly improves wear resistance during circuit driving. In addition, the tyre also has a more angled structure for more lateral rigidity. It is available in sizes ranging from 15 inches to 21 inches.

    BluEarth-RV RV03

The RV03 is claimed to offer 20% more wear resistance than the RV-02
Targeting family men and women, on the other hand, is the BluEarth-RV RV03, which is specifically designed for MPVs (multi-purpose vehicles).

Succeeding the RV-02, the RV03 has a new tread pattern and rubber compound that produces less noise, while still retaining the wobble-resistance that the RV-02 offers.

Meanwhile, the high rigidity shoulder and high rigidity help reduce uneven wear. The two wide ribs, on the other hand, are designed to increase steering stability.

Yokohama also said that the RV03 also offers shorter braking distances in wet conditions. The tyre is available in sizes ranging from 15 inches to 20 inches.
