Volvo will join the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore (SCMS) 2013 as the Official Car Sponsor for the very first time.
Volvo will provide the SCMS 2013 with a fleet of two of their best selling Volvo models - the Volvo XC60 luxury SUV and V40 Cross Country compact crossover - as VIP and official cars during the race.


A fleet of Volvo cars, with the SCMS 2013 branding, will be on the roads in Singapore to promote the event in the build up from September onwards.
In addition, Volvo will run a special promotion whereby VIP and official cars will be open for booking at heavily subsidised prices with discounts of up to $30,000.
Mr Toh Boon Yi, Chief Strategic Development and Marketing Group, Singapore Sports Council and Vice Chairman of the SCMS Organising Committee, said, "Over the years, we have made a conscious effort to enhance the SCMS race to ensure that it continues to provide runners with the best experience possible that is consistent with its status as an International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Gold Label race.
