Dash cams are ultimately surveillance for your beloved set of wheels, this means that they play an important role in keeping your car safe whether you are in it or not. This is where leading dash cam brand Thinkware comes in.

As the sun goes down, many animals seek refuge, including us humans. Others become active and take advantage of the night to go unnoticed as they go about their duties. Like an owl, the F770 with its Super Night Vision, begins its hunt when the great blinding star hides and darkness reigns over the land.
The F770's Super Night Vision has the capability to enhance video brightness in even the most dimly lit carparks. This along with its Time Lapse Mode will ensure that it can monitor your car's safety for an extended period of time, and save on memory card space at the same time. This added feature also means that you will no longer have to archive your footage, and thus reduce the chance of overriding previous ones.

The Time Lapse mode, which boasts an improved video storage method, one that can record the details of the parked vehicle by extending the recording hours by up to 16 times compared to regular parking mode.
The F770's Time Lapse feature stands out as it records throughout the night, taking one frame per second instead of the conventional one frame per 30 seconds. When you start your vehicle, the system tells you how many videos were recorded while you are away from your car.
When the power is cut off, the F770's Dual Save mode allows the camera to save video files to the device's internal storage as well as an SD card. This is useful if you want continuous recording but don’t want the recording to take up all your storage space.

The brand debuted its latest range of premium in-car dash cams at this year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Its fifth year participating, Thinkware exhibited 10 dash cam models including the Thinkware Dash Cam F770 featuring Super Night Vision, a night image correction feature, and Time Lapse that dramatically extends your car's parked recording hours.

Optimised for lowly lit environments, the F770's Super Night Vision is designed to deliver up to 10 times higher brightness than existing products. This is made possible with the dash cam's new image signal processing (ISP) technology and real-time video processing function.
The F770's Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) guarantees your safety and convenience with features including Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) that alerts you when swerving out of lane, and the Front Collision Warning System (FCWS) that calculates the speed of the your vehicle and that of the one in front of you in real time.
When it senses that you're too close to the car in front of you, the system will tell you to 'watch out' so as to prevent collision. It also has a red light camera notification system that prompts you if you are coming up to a red light.

A step up from its younger brother the F750, the F770 comes with clearer markings and bigger buttons and thus makes it easier to operate.
As compared to regular brackets that are often unsightly, the F770 comes with a slim mount that is flushed against the windscreen which helps reduce glare. It also makes attaching and removing the camera a cinch.
Finished in matte black, the F770 continues Thinkware's range of sleek and well-built in-car dash cams, and is a fine update to a already great system.
