10 years of the Kodiaq: Skoda U.K. unveils Kodiaq Edition X
21 Feb 2026|107 views
A whole decade has rapidly come and gone since Skoda first unveiled the first-generation Kodiaq to the world. To celebrate the model's landmark 10 years in its lineup, the Czech brand is unveiling a new special edition for the U.K. market, fittingly dubbed the Skoda Kodiaq Edition X.
The Edition X is based on what is known as the Kodiaq SE L in the U.K. - effectively the mid-spec trim of the latest-gen Kodiaq that sits beneath the Kodiaq L&K, Kodiaq Sportline and the performance-focused Kodiaq RS.
To set itself apart, however, the Kodiaq Edition X gets 19-inch Halti anthracite alloy wheels, a metallic paintcoat, and also a unique exterior styling package that includes black D-pillars, a dark chrome front grille, and also chrome roof rails.
Fitted as standard are LED Matrix head lights brandishing Skoda's full tech-suite: An adaptive front light system, an all weather lighting system, and cornering lights. The Edition X's rear LED lights also come with a welcome effect and dynamic indicators.
ecoSuite black upholstery and grey decorative accents continue the Kodiaq Edition X's brooding aesthetic on the inside
On the inside, the Edition X's cabin matches its exterior's brooding aesthetic with ecoSuite black design upholstery, replete with perforated black leather or artificial leather upholstery, a grey dashboard, and also grey decorative door inserts. Offered as standard as well is an electrically adjustable driver's seat with memory functions and power adjustable lumbar support. The Edition X also comes with the Kodiaq's much-loved three-row layout with seven seats.
Finally, pop the Kodiaq Edition X's hood open and you'll find a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with 48V mild hybrid assistance. Peak output stands at 148bhp, with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission also offered as standard.
