The first 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer has rolled off General Motor’s Rayong, Thailand production plant on Monday. The SUV will reportedly be exported to over 50 markets, including Southeast Asia.The SUV has seating for seven and is produced alongside the Colorado pick-up where the two models share many major components.
The Trailblazer is powered by one of two four-cylinder turbodiesel engines. The base one displaces 2.5 litres and churns 150bhp along with 350Nm of torque. The larger 2.8 litre one makes 180bhp and 468Nm. Either can be paired with a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic, depending on market. More engine options will be introduced for other markets later on.
