The 2022 Jeep Compass has earned a Top Safety Pick rating from the U.S.A Insurance Institute for Highway Safety for 2022.
The rating applies to models equipped with LED projector or LED reflector headlamps when paired with high-beam assist. The SUV was said to have achieved the highest possible score in each of the six IIHS crashworthiness tests which include three types of frontal crashes, while the remaining tests evaluated the car's behaviour in a side impact, rear impact and a rollover.
Jeep states the Compass’ automatic emergency braking technology - Full-speed Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking - earned the highest possible rating of 'superior', while its Pedestrian/Cyclist Automatic Emergency Braking system was rated by the safety accessors as 'advanced'. Both features are standard equipment on the 2022 Jeep Compass in the U.S.A.
