All-new Lexus ES makes world premiere at 2025 Auto Shanghai

The all-new Lexus ES has made its world premiere at 2025 Auto Shanghai.

Built on the new TNGA GA-K platform, the new ES supports both hybrid and all-electric powertrains, with two variants available for each: 300h and 350h (hybrid), and 350e and 500e (EVs).

Developed under the concept of Experience Elegance and Electrified Sedan, the all-new Lexus ES aspires to deliver a refined driving experience across every scene

The 300h will be offered with two engine choices: A 2.0-litre option that delivers 145kW (195bhp) and a 2.5-litre option offering 148kW (199bhp). The 350h will be offered solely with the 2.5-litre engine offering an output of 182kW (244bhp). Both hybrid variants will be available in either FWD or AWD.

The 350e and 500e are the all-electric variants, offering 165kW (221bhp) and 252kW (338bhp) respectively. The 350e is a FWD with a CLTC range of approximately 685km, while the 500e is an AWD that offers 610km.

But that's not all. Inside, the Lexus ES debuts two new innovations: Responsive Hidden Switches, which seamlessly blends physical controls into the interior; and the Sensory Concierge, a feature that delivers a personalised, immersive cabin experience. Additionally, the ES integrates next-generation multimedia for enhanced connectivity along with the latest Lexus Safety System+.

The all-new Lexus ES is the second of three new Lexus EV models scheduled to debut by March 2026.
