Aston Martin has announced that it has elected Bowers and Wilkins as its official audio partner.
The two British brands have already collaborated for the sound system of the DB12, which saw engineers from both sides working together to develop the optional surround sound system upgrade for the grand tourer.
The sound system is said to feature the technologies and innovations found in Bowers & Wilkins' industry-leading products, including its Aluminium Double Dome tweeters and Continuum mid-range drive units. These are said to give the 15-speaker, double amplified 1,170W surround sound system a balanced and accurate sound. Dedicated 3D headline speakers and a subwoofer in the Aston Martin DB12 will also ensure an enthralling sound experience.
The immersive quality of the high-end performance audio system is achieved by perfect location, direction, and symmetry of the speaker positions, which have been meticulously built deep into the fabric of the DB12.
