Based upon the Toyota iQ, the Cygnet features classic Aston Martin styling cues such as the grille, front fender vents, and hidden door handles, unique tail lights, and an oversized rear spoiler. Inside, the car boasts gloss black trim, premium leather upholstery, and an iPhone dock.
The Cygnet is likely to be powered by a 1.3-litre Dual VVT-i engine supplied by Toyota, with 99bhp, and features a stop/start system that cuts off the engine when the car is stationary. While Aston Martin says that the Cygnet is still a concept for now, they have confirmed that they will put the Cygnet into production around 2010 and 2011. The Cygnet will be sold in European markets only.
