Aston Martin Valhalla makes dynamic debut in Monaco

Four years after it was first unveiled to the world, the Aston Martin Valhalla has finally made its global public dynamic debut.
The plug-in hybrid supercar - which also marks Aston Martin's first series production mid-engined supercar - took to the streets of the iconic Monaco street circuit ahead of Formula One practice last weekend. The dynamic debut followed a new milestone in its journey from concept-car to roadgoing super-machine, as it recently completed final validation both on road and on track.
Also noteworthy about the Valhalla's dynamic debut was the man in the driver's seat that helped make it happen: None other than Aston Martin Aramco Formula One team driver, Fernando Alonso.
The two-time Formula One World Champion, who is said to have followed the car's development closely over the past 18 months and helped provide input, was effusive in his praise, saying, "Taking Aston Martin's unmatched luxury credentials and added cutting-edge Formula One inspired technology and class-leading performance, I can confirm Valhalla is a true supercar both on road and on track. Outside of the outright power and dynamics, it delivers on all of the raw feelings and emotions you look for when behind the wheel of a car like Valhalla."
Limited to 999 units worldwide, the Valhalla draws its power from an all-new plug-in hybrid powertrain, which pairs three electric motors with a mid-mounted, 817bhp 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged bespoke V8 engine (the highest performing ever fitted to an Aston Martin). Combined system output stands at an incredible 1,064bhp and 1,100Nm of torque.
Sheer power aside, however, the car has been repeatedly singled out by Aston Martin as a showcase of its know-how from Formula One, fusing performance-driven technologies in dynamics, aerodynamics, and even material-design and use. Deliveries are set to commence in the second half of 2025.
