Audi Singapore has presented the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron and the SQ8 Sportback e-tron at the 2024 Singapore Motor Show.
Taking on the baton from the e-tron Sportback as Audi's flagship coupe SUV, the Audi SQ8 Sportback e-tron makes use of a unique tri-motor powertrain (with one electric motor at the front axle and two at the rear) that delivers a total of 496bhp and a whopping 973Nm of torque. This output allows the car to complete the century sprint in just 4.5 seconds, and comes courtesy of a 106kWh battery that can be charged at a maximum of 170kW.
You'll be able to tell this SQ8 e-tron Sportback from earlier examples of the e-tron S Sportback thanks to its revised front grille, which now houses a two-dimensional Audi logo. The SQ8 e-tron Sportback also stands apart from the Q8 e-tron with its larger air intakes at the front, the use of aluminium-look exterior mirror housings, as well as its widened, flow-optimised wheel arch panels and a large diffuser at the rear. Expect the Audi SQ8 e-tron Sportback to launch here in Singapore later in 2024.
Also available to view at the motor show from Audi is the Audi Q4 e-tron.
Built atop the Volkswagen Group's MEB platform, the all-electric premium crossover goes head-on against models including the Mercedes-Benz EQA and the BMW iX1 (which you also can catch at the show).
Also set for market entry later in 2024, the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron offers a total of 286bhp and 545Nm of torque and gets a 77kWh battery that allows it to post a range of 544km.
Those thinking of purchasing the Q4 Sportback e-tron can, however, already register their interest with Audi Singapore here. The firm states that those who do so will be among the first to test drive and own the car when it arrives in Singapore.
Audi Singapore is also displaying other flagship models including the RS e-tron GT and the Audi A6 at the 2024 Singapore Motor Show. On-site visitors can also redeem additional discounts for selected Audi Collection merchandise at the show. More details on the discounts available for the merchandise is available here.
