It looks like Bentley Mulliner has been kept busy the past few months.
Just more than a week after revealing a bespoke Bentayga inspired by Private White V.C., the firm has now revealed a new bespoke Bentayga EWB Azure V8 after having delivered it to its expectant customers.
The bespoke Bentayga gets 22-inch 10-spoke wheels in Kingfisher and Beluga to match its duo-tone exterior
This Bentayga EWB Azure V8 is not only described as a truly individual Bentley, but was also requested with a bespoke two-tone exterior finish which prompted the firm to bring forward its introduction of two-tone finishes for the Bentayga EWB by 12 months.
The commission was requested by a couple in California, the two of whom originally visited a showroom intending to specify their Bentayga from the 46 billion different configurations available with the standard options range.
However, the two are said to have been inspired to let their imaginations roam free after having been drawn to Kingfisher, a brilliant metallic electric blue finish. The couple are said to have wanted a contrast exterior colour to complement the Blackline styling specification, and after a conversation with Bentley's paint shop to confirm that a duo-tone would be possible, Bentley then initiated a process to bring the launch of this option on Bentayga EWB forwards by a year.
Kingfisher accents are paired with Mandarin and Imperial Blue leather in the cabin, alongside the use of Open Pore Koa veneer
The special Bentayga EWB thus sports a duo-tone exterior comprising of Onyx over Kingfisher Blue, specially chosen to dazzle in the California sunshine. Onyx appears on the bonnet, roof, and upper body, integrating with the black grille, front air intakes, wing vents, side coachlines and rear diffuser that come with the Blackline specification.
This colour combination is repeated on the car's 22-inch 10-spoke wheels, which come complete with self-levelling Bentley wheel badges.
The car also comes with the Azure wellness-focused package alongside rear privacy glass and the deletion of Bentley lettering on the tailgate, as its owners were content to let the winged B badge speak for itself.
In the cabin, the bespoke Bentayga EWB comes with the Naim for Bentley audio system alongside a dramatic combination of Mandarin and Imperial Blue leather. The couple also chose to have a light, contemporary and sustainable Open Pore Koa veneer for the fascia, rear centre console, door inners and picnic tables of the car. And of course, flashes of Kingfisher accent hide have also been employed here, appearing on the seat bolsters, lower fascia, six o'clock tab on the steering wheel, gear lever and door trim.
75% of the vehicles that left Bentley's Dream Factory in Crewe in 2023 are said to have featured content from Mulliner.
